The town of Nigüelas
A municipality in Granada, belonging to the Lecrín Valley region; known as “the balcony of the Valley”. It is located on the right bank of the Torrente River and at the foot of El Zahor mountain, at an altitude of 931 m.

Hiking
The Lecrín Valley stretches out among orange, lemon, cherry, pomegranate and centuries-old olive trees that were planted by the Arabs before leaving forever and christening it as the Valley of Joy.
Mountain bike
Beautiful and challenging mountain bike routes that will take you through a wide variety of landscapes, starting from Nigüelas on the slopes of Sierra Nevada
Cycling
If you love cycling, the Lecrín Valley offers a prime location for this sport. The valley, like the province of Granada, is a world-renowned cycling destination.
Skiing
Sierra Nevada is the third highest mountain range in Europe. More than 20 of its peaks exceed 3,000 meters in altitude, with Mulhacén, at 3,482 meters, being the highest point on the Iberian Peninsula.
Climb
If you enjoy climbing, discover all the activities that the Lecrín Valley and La Alpujarra have to offer, where you can enjoy canyoning, via ferrata sections or climbing walls.
Windsurfing
The Rules reservoir has been home to a windsurfing school for years. They offer courses for all ages and levels, as well as equipment rental for those more experienced in the sport.
