Its peaks include the highest summits on the Iberian Peninsula.\n\nMore than 20 of its peaks exceed 3,000 meters in altitude, with Mulhac\u00e9n, at 3,482 meters, being the highest point on the Iberian Peninsula.\n\nThese mountains are home to the southernmost ski resort in Europe, boasting the most hours of sunshine.
