A municipality in Granada province, belonging to the Lecr\u00edn Valley region, known as \u201cthe balcony of the valley.\u201d It is situated on the right bank of the Torrente River and at the foot of El Zahor mountain, at an altitude of 931 meters. It is 3 km from D\u00farcal, 28 km from Granada, and 15 minutes from the Alpujarra region. Located halfway between the city of Granada and the Granada coast.<\/p>

From this town\u2014and its surrounding area\u2014you can admire a wide variety of beautiful landscapes, such as the view of the town center and the Sierra Nevada mountains in the distance from the old national highway. La Razuela, a small plateau at the foot of El Zahor, above the town, offers a splendid viewpoint overlooking the entire region. Los Cahorros, on the Torrente River, is 1 km from the town center. The streets and courtyards reflect its Moorish origins. The Sierra Nevada mountains are accessible via tracks leading from the town. This area has much to offer travelers and visitors: excellent hiking trails, local craft shops, and tapas bars. The locals are friendly and welcoming. There are many places of interest, such as Arab baths, ruined castles, old olive mills, and interesting churches.
The resources of its 1,200 inhabitants are primarily agricultural: olive groves, almond orchards, citrus fruits, cereal crops, legumes, vineyards, and potatoes. It also boasts a rich theatrical and musical tradition.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
