Lecrin Valley is still one of Granada’s best kept secrets. It stretches among orange, lemon, cherry, pomegranate and centenarian olive trees planted by the Arabs before leaving forever and naming it the Valley of Joy. The region has numerous hiking trails and routes among which we highlight: Boabdil’s Route, the Pavilla Trail in Nigüelas, La Vereda del rio Durcal (Durcal River Trail), Barranco de la Luna (the Moon’s Ravine), fountains and Atalaya (watchtower) in Conchar and much more.
